Felicia Chin's wet farewell

The actress will wash a car in skimpy wear in her final drama, and invites fans for a pool gathering!

Six years ago Felicia Chin first grabbed the attention in an attention-grabbing bikini run down Orchard Road in the swim-themed idol drama The Champion.

As the pretty actress prepares to exit our TV sets and embark on some much-delayed tertiary education, her swansong performance will be related to pools and curvy figures once again.

At a shoot for upcoming sports-music drama No Limits, Felicia spoke to xinmsn exclusively about the challenges of her role and her study plans.

In the series, she plays an aspiring national swimmer whose love interest is Elvin Ng's sailing coach character. No Limits also stars Dai Yangtian, Tracy Lee, Yuan Shuai, and the evergreen pair of Pan Lingling and Wang Yuqing.

The first thing Felicia gushed about was the chance to cross swords with the latter, local TV's original swim king, the star of 1983's The Flying Fish. In the show they play father-and-daughter.

But fans will also do themselves favours by gluing to the drama. The 25-year-old revealed, "This is my heaviest role yet. It's been so packed. I have to look fresh and youthful even with the lack of sleep! (Laughs)"

So will we 'see a lot' of her?

Sensing our probing on the extent of a flesh parade, she said, "This time I'll mainly be in a one-piece swimsuit. But there's still a scene when I'll be in quite little. (Laughs)"

The delicious Vitagen girl was referring to a (guys: take note) carwash scene, in which she 'sacrifices' for love and laces up skimpy.

But she added that the passing of time has inevitably brought stress to her, wedged among a cast of younger hot bods.

"Tracy and the others are all younger than me. It reminds me of the old me!"

Felicia has chosen to major in business when she returns to school this year. She revealed it is still not known which local or overseas university she would be enrolling in.

But although she once dreamt of studying in a foreign land, she now says she hopes to further her education here.

Isn't she worried about the unwanted attention on campus?

"I'm as ordinary as anyone. Classmates will get used to it over time. And attention might not be a bad thing. Maybe they would be more willing to lend me their notes! (Laughs)"

Since announcing her impending hiatus, many heartbroken fans have personally made cards for the former Star Search winner.

"They respect my decision, and I feel comforted and touched. I really have to thank them."

Felicia then turned into an excited little girl when we raised the idea of a farewell gathering. She said she would plan one soon, but joked, "Have it in a pool! We can have great food and watch the first episode of No Limits. Everyone will have to be in swimsuits, except me! (Laughs)"
